Jefferson Road, West Jefferson, NC Interment: Burkett Memorial Cemetery, West Jefferson, NC BiographyMrs. Charlene Davis Phillips, age 63, of West Jefferson passed away Saturday morning, January 16, 2010 at North Carolina Baptist Hospital.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Martha Kincaid and Rev. Steve LeaShomb officiating. Burial will follow in the Burkett Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home, 2477 Mt. Jefferson Road in West Jefferson on Sunday and Monday afternoon. Mrs. Phillips was born in Ashe County on Sunday, June 16, 1946 to the late Charles Preston and Algene (Jean) Morgan Davis. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Kay Davis. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Phillips; a son, Brian Phillips, of West Jefferson; a daughter, Michelle Reavis and husband, Dwayne, of West Jefferson; a brother, James Davis and wife, Jeanie, of Independence, VA; her stepfather, Gaines Rogers, of Cookville, TN; six grandchildren, Jake Pollard, Sydney Pollard, Josh Reavis, Britknee Reavis, Lukas Phillips and Allie Phillips; several nieces and nephews also survive.
