Mr. Steven Wayne Hardin, age 58, of Mooresville, formerly of Ashe County, died Friday evening, January 29, 2010 at Lake Norman Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rex Eldreth officiating. Burial will follow in the Hardin Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm on Wednesday, two hours prior to the funeral service.

Mr. Hardin was born in Ashe County on Friday, February 16, 1951 to William H. and Vivian Greer Hardin. He was a Store Manager of Lowe's Hardware.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Osborne Hardin, of Mooresville; a son, Christopher Steven Hardin, of Mooresville; a daughter, Lindsy Paige Hardin, of Mooresville; his father and mother, William "Bill" Hardin and Vivian Greer Hardin, of West Jefferson; two sisters, Barbara Hardin Miller and husband, Clarence "Eddie", of Jefferson and Robin Renee Hardin Osborne and husband, Robert, of West Jefferson; two nieces, Kimberly Osborne of West Jefferson and Elizabeth Miller of West Jefferson; a nephew, James Miller of Wilkesboro also survive.
