Funeral Service: Friday, February 26, 2010 2:00 PM Boone Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Jefferson, NC Visitation: Thursday, February 25, 2010 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Boone Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, West Jefferson, NC Interment: Jones Cemetery, Warrensville, NC  BiographyMr. Jerry Smith Treadway, age 59, of Warrensville, passed away on Tuesday morning, February 23, 2010 at his residence.Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.D. Walton and Pastor Chuck Call officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00pm on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Treadway was born in Ashe County on Sunday, August 20, 1950 to the late Frank Henry and Virginia Jones Treadway. He worked as a CNA. He was a member of Clifton Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dale Treadway. Mr. Treadway is survived by his wife, Mary Jones Treadway, of the home; a daughter, Nicole Osborne and husband, David Lee, of Warrensville; five brothers, James Treadway, of West Jefferson, Robert Treadway, of Creston, Ralph Treadway, of West Jefferson, Terry Treadway and wife, Becky, of Todd and Jed Treadway and wife, Gionia, of Jefferson; three sisters, Barbara Sheets and husband, Gale, of Mocksville, Brenda Gordon, of Yadkinville and Virginia Ruth Hall and husband, David, of Boone; several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the donor's choice. |
