Cemetery, West Jefferson, NC BiographyMrs. Ruby Lyall Linville, age 83, of Jefferson passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Boone.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Dawes and Rev. J.D. Walton officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Creek Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Linville was born in Ashe County on October 10, 1926 to the late Walter Andrew (W.A.) and Ettie Patrick Lyall. She worked at Hanes for 25 years and was the owner of the Mayflower Restaurant. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Rita Wilson, Hattie Lyall, Ruth Richardson and Elsie Houck; five brothers, Jerry Lyall, Charles Lyall, Clarence Lyall, Earl Lyall and Odell Lyall; a grandson, Gregory Justin Tenney. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Rivas of West Jefferson; a special friend & caregiver, Melissa Richardson, of Jefferson; two grandchildren, Stormi Stinnett and husband, Jonathan, of West Jefferson and Stephen Tenney, of West Jefferson; two great grandchildren, Faith Elizabeth Stinnett and Jesse James Stinnett; five nieces and two nephews also survive.
